This is a Proof of Work faucet.
In August 2022, BoomPoW has been rewritten and the new system replaces the legacy BoomPoW.[1]
The old version of BoomPow is now discontinued and the repository can be found in boompow-legacy.

The second version of BoomPow was initially named "BoomPoW Next" but then got assigned the name BoomPoW.
